Information we receive
The quote form collects your name, phone number, property postcode, and the service you are interested in. Your email address is optional. Accepted submissions are sent to our secure server, stored as enquiry records, and used to generate email notifications so we can respond. Submissions rejected because the information is invalid or reCAPTCHA verification fails are not stored as enquiry records. A valid enquiry remains saved if its email notification fails.
If you contact us by email, telephone, or WhatsApp, you may also provide project requirements, budgets, timing, drawings, and photographs. The website form currently does not accept file uploads. Please share only information relevant to your enquiry and avoid sending sensitive information unnecessarily.
Our hosting and security systems may process technical information including IP addresses, browser details, requested pages, and security logs.
Why we use information
We use enquiry information to respond to questions, discuss a project, and prepare a quotation. Where you ask us to take steps towards entering a contract with you, that is the intended legal basis for this use. General correspondence and website security may rely on our legitimate interests in communicating with customers and protecting our business, balanced against your rights.
Where a project proceeds, information may also be needed to perform the contract or meet legal obligations. Any additional use, including marketing, needs to be explained before it begins.
You do not have to provide enquiry information, but we may be unable to respond or assess your project without relevant contact and property details.
How long information is kept
Rejected submissions are not kept as enquiry records. Technical access and security logs may still record the request.
Accepted enquiry records and related correspondence are retained for three years from the date of the enquiry. Failed submissions are not stored as enquiry records.
If an enquiry leads to building work, the resulting project and contractual records are handled separately from the initial enquiry. Technical access and security logs are also handled separately; contact us for details of the applicable retention arrangements.
Your rights and complaints
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access and correct your information, request its deletion, restrict its use, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and receive certain information in a portable format. If processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.
To ask about your information or raise a concern, contact us by phone at 01702 781 884 or write to our registered office. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity.
You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
